"Where is Minister Minority Gian Chand Esrani?  Fourth Day has passed at Press Club Hyderabad!  The children of the victims, recovered farmers will die for want of food and shelter!  They are passing their lives with death threats!"

------Advocate Veerji Kolhi-----

We at IUFE have the following question for Minister Minority Gian Chand Esrani!  How quickly would you arrive to provide food , shelter and protection for these 72 victims who have been threatened with death on a daily basis if this were his own family members?  Is Mr. Esrani worthy of his position as Minister Minority? This issue will be forwarded to the International Community and Human Rights Organizations to show Mr. Esrani's negligence and lack of concern for Human Life!

" Landlord  Zubair Sehito's 72 Bonded peasants who were freed by order of the  High Court of Sindh stayed for a second night under the open sky in front of Hyderabad Press Club in spite of Higher Court's order. No  security  has been provided to the dislocated peasants and their  families....."

Police have still not responded to the demand of the 72 Bonded Laborers who were recently freed with the help of Advocate Veerji Kolhi.  This is the second night they have been exposed in the open sky with no security provided to protect them from harm!  It is quite ironic what one local newspaper  had to say about NGO's working to assist Bonded Laborers by bringing awareness  to Human Rights Organizations and the International Community.  The Article from the Pakistani Newspaper , The Pioneer is posted below:

In response to the claim made in this article by the Pakistani Publication The Pioneer. NGO means NON GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATION! That means they are NOT receiving any money for the work they do! This is the first point. The second point is that the efforts of specific NGO's make the world aware of these cruel and inhuman practices that prevent people from living a free life or have access to their animals or their  personal possessions! The NGO's do much for the protection of these people! The world is aware that Bonded Labor must be stopped! That is due to Advocate Veerji Kolhi;s work and the work of those NGO's who are aware of people still being held in bondage in Pakistan! Reporting news in your own country is not enough! What are YOU doing those staff at Pioneer other than just reporting news? Are you helping these people in any way? Or are you just reporting news?

I notice that this newspaper seems to want to spread false information about NGO's that actively assist these people by raising the voice for their cases!  We will never be silent despite these false reports!  The paper is exposing the plight of these victims yet they are diminishing their suffering by offering no hope , no assistance , and no action to bring these people protection and security from being out in the open sky! Most of these victims are women and children and it is unacceptable that they are exposed to such danger after just receiving their freedom after 10 years of torture, rape, lack of food and severely harsh labor under cruel landlords! Without the international awareness about Bonded Labor that is circulated by the NGO's  and the work of our own Advocate Veerji Kolhi  , these cases would never be heard about in any other country except Pakistan and the Muslim Landlords who have no remorse but to torture, rape, snatch personal possessions and livestock would never be brought to justice!  Just setting the record straight!  IUFE will continue to provide awareness about these victims of Bonded Labor and actively work by Advocate Veerji Kolhi's side to bring about the end of the cruel practice of Bonded Labor forever!
